Anyone for hockey?
Hockey is one of the few sports than can be played throughout the lifespan and boasts players as young as four years of age through to veterans over 55.
At the junior level, both boys and girls from Kindergarten up to Year 5 play a modified version of the game which consists of smaller sticks, a lightweight ball, reduced size field and a smaller number of players to provide everyone with an opportunity to become actively involved.
Year 6 girls and up then go on to play full field Hockey.
Bosco Hockey Club already has a number of children and women playing from the Helensburgh area and are keen to hear from anyone else who might be interested. With a focus on enjoyment, no experience is necessary and all levels of fitness are catered for.
All junior teams play at the same time and place each week and there is no hockey played during school holidays for all ages.
So all women and children who may be interested in playing hockey in 2006, give us a call to see how you can join other locals in playing a great family orientated sport.
