Small Business Minister in Northern suburbs

The Northern Illawarra Chamber of Commerce (NICC) recently met with the Minister for Small Business, Dr Craig Emerson.

About 20 NICC members attending represented the broad cross section of the 500 Northern Illawarra businesses that are located in the region.

During the meeting, the NICC President, Pauline Lacelles-Smith, took the opportunity to strengthen the case for the region’s identity to be known as the Northern Illawarra coastal villages, rather than Northern Wollongong suburbs.

During his speech the Minister identified the best future for the Illawarra would be found in the ability for small businesses to be creative, imaginative and entrepreneurial.
